Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Mill Hill

El Vaquero

2 Hale Ln, London NW7 3NX, UK – 020 8445 1882

They monitor what you eat so you don't get served too much "good stuff" I'm not knocking the quality, however yesterday they stopped serving us more of certain cuts (that I prefer) and we were completely ignored by the servers towards the end of our meal. When questioned the manager came over to explain that we had had our fair share of the good stuff and that he knew exactly what we had eaten and that we wouldn't be getting more of the cuts we wanted until everyone else was fed - his words not mine. Unusual, unfair and very uncomfortable to know that this restaurant keeps an eye on what you eat.

Very good food with meat carved for you off the spit. Great choice of different kinds of meat. Beautifully cooked and offered to you at the table. Very good salad and extras buffet. Other dishes available but limited choice. Wine and drinks choice much better than I expected. Excellent service and the staff are very helpful, pleasant and attentive. Limited parking in the surrounding roads. Not situated in the most attractive location. Eat as much as you like is quite expensive. Overall a very good experience.

Izgara restaurant

165-167 Station Rd, London HA8 7JU, UK – 020 8951 4460

Really nice food. Succulent meat. The ribs chops chicken all very nice. Tried the asparagus chicken as well. Was amazing. Next time will look to try some of the other dishes they have available. Would have given 5 stars but they didn't have half the deserts on the menu. Could be a one off. Definitely going back!

A very modern and nicely decorated restaurant. The food is amazing. This would be a good place to go with your family or even a date. The service is also good. It's not too far from the station and the Broadwalk shopping centre parking isn't too far either so it's convenient to get to. I would recommend it for sure.

The Good Earth

143-145 The Broadway, London NW7 4RN, UK – 020 8959 7011

Good food and service. Vegetarian choice is good (not extensive) and high quality. The food is well prepared and presented. The vegetables are not overcooked and had good texture left in them (many places just seem to serve limp vegetables!!). It is expensive, but at the same time good value for the quality you get. A good place for special occasions.

Food and service are amazing. Absolutely enjoyed. If you love Chinese food, you need to try it!
